In the spring of each year, the English department awards a number of prizes and fellowships to our undergraduate majors. Here are the prize winners for 2007:

In addition, graduating seniors in our Distinguished Majors Program can receive their degree with Distinction, High Distinction, or Highest Distinction based on their work in the English Major and their production of an honors thesis. At the University's final exercises on May 20, the following students received their degrees in English with Distinction:

Finally, a number of our graduating fourth-years participated in the Poetry Writing Area Program, and received their degrees in English with Distinction or High Distinction. At final exercises on May 20, Bradford Pace received his degree with Distinction, while Thomas Albert, Laura Eve Engel, Caroline Henze-Gongola, and Sarah Schweig received degrees with High Distinction.
